Hi, my name is Catherine. I have been teaching yoga asana, meditation and pranayama (breathing practices) in Tasmania since 2019.
I recently relocated from Tasmania to Brisbane and I am now teaching a weekly Vinyasa yoga class at the Ridge Youth Centre on Mannington Rd, Acacia Ridge.
My yoga classes focus on the body's movement in connection to the breath delivered in a gentle vinyasa flow style of movement.
I welcome all to my classes and ensure everyone is catered to from those new to their yoga practice, to those more experienced.
I believe yoga is for everyone, every age, every experience and every walk of life.

Hi. My name is Catherine.

I am a yoga asana and pranayama teacher based in the south of Brisbane, Queensland.
​
I trained through Brisbane-based studio BIYOME: The BioMedical Institute of Yoga & Meditation - one of Brisbane’s only yoga studios primarily dedicated to yoga teacher training, that combines the ancient yogic wisdom of the east with a western paradigm based in the evidence-based biomedical sciences.
​
I began teaching after completing my training in 2019, but began my informal training with an educational trip to India in 2012.
With a focus on deepening meditation practice during two weeks at the Rikhiapeeth Ashram, this magical experience was the catalyst for my transition from student to teacher.
